6. What do they need to prepare for auditions? 6-9 year olds will be asked to repeat lines after the directors as well as pantomime out motions- it is a lot of fun! They do not need to prepare anything.
Actors ages 10 and older can prepare by studying previously posted script audition parts. Memorization of audition lines is always encouraged but not required.
7. What is required of families involved? We ask one family member to volunteer for one slot during the production, and to help at least one night during practice with cleaning up during and after practice as well as helping with prop/costume teams. If this is not possible you will need to discuss this with us prior to your child being a part of the production as it may affect their eligibility.
8. Are all practices mandatory? Yes. We understand sicknesses happen and there will be an occasional miss, but you are committing to a team and it is crucial to have all members present at all practices.
9. When is Show week and how often will my child perform? Show week begins with set up On March 2nd 2025 and ends with the yellow cast show on March 8, 2025.
CCT has two casts classified by the colors "Yellow" and "Blue" performing the same play at different times. Each cast performs twice. Please see the calendar for detailed dates and times.
10. CCT requires every participant pays at callbacks as we we are unable to cast without payment. Please let us know if payment is an issue. We are happy to work with you! We're looking so forward to watching your children make this amazing play come to life!
